Remembering Roger Carver
Roger Carver was a great supporter of Deaf Literacy when in the 1990’s and early 2000. He provided training for our practitioners and did research work for Goal: Ontario Literacy for Deaf People, which is now the Deaf Literacy Initiative. We thank Roger for his support for Deaf Literacy and he shall not be forgotten.
Roger Carver, age 70, of Saskatoon, SK passed away suddenly on January 21, 2019 in Saskatoon. Roger was born on September 11, 1948 in Newark, NJ. He is survived by his wife Shelly; sons Robert (Lise) and Burt (Tracy); grandchildren Jordan, Ariel, Emma, Drew, Hazel, and Théo; sister-in-law Katherine; and niece Krystina. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas of Hartford, CT, and his parents Robert and Gertrude of West Hartford, CT.
