Our Team

Deaf Literacy Initiative has knowledgeable staff that comes from a literacy background and strives to collaboratively work together to:

• Provide quality professional development and training to literacy agencies serving Deaf and Deaf-Blind learners
• Develop learner and practitioner resources relevant to Deaf and Deaf-Blind adult learners
• Undertake research initiatives that advance the Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy field in Ontario

Provide expertise and support to the Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy field in Ontario and abroad

We, Deaf Literacy Initiative team envision the successful delivery of accessible, culturally relevant and equitable resources and services to Ontario’s Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy community.
